Replacing A Carpet Patch For Home Owners

If you have a badly damaged section of carpet such as a cigarette burn or bleach spot what are you to do. One option is to replace that area with a patch. Read this article to learn about how to replace a small damaged section of your carpet.

Sometimes the only way to fix a spot in a carpet is to cut it out and replace it. This is true with things like cigarette burns which can burn all the way down to the backing. If you would like to repair this yourself you will need a few things. First you will need a carpet repair tool which is available at most carpet supply stores. It only costs a few dollars and it is a round cutting tool that will allow you to make a precise cut in the carpet. You will also need some adhesive disks and carpet clue.

SteamVac Cleaner

To begin you will find a donor carpet, usually a hidden section of the carpet or an extra piece of carpet you have handy. Now take your cutting tool and cut out the damaged section. Be careful to not cut through the carpet fibers themselves. Next cut a replacement section from the donor carpet also being careful not to cut the carpet fibers. Next you will peel off the cover on the adhesive disk and place it in the empty hole. Now put some glue around the edge of the hole and insert your patch trying to match the grain of the carpet. (Carpet has a distinct grain). Press the patch firmly into place and put a weight on top of the area. Let it dry at least twenty four hours before putting the carpet to use.

Replacing A Carpet Patch For Home Owners

That is all there is to it. Remember that the patch will not be perfect. If you want a perfect job or have a large damaged section you should contact a local carpet cleaner for the repair. Good luck.

Researching Through a Carpet Review - See What the Experts Have to Say

Each and every carpet retailer and dealer wants you to buy their carpet, each brand wants you to believe that they have the best product...reading a quality objective carpet review can help you find the perfect carpet. Reading carpet reviews for carpet care products is another excellent resource for potential carpet owners.

Consumer Reports will give very factual and broad reviews of not only the carpet itself but the dealers, stores and warehouses and manufacturers as well. For example, carpet giants such as Carpet One and Carpet World not only sell famous brand named carpets, but their own lines as well where as big box chains like Home Depot and Lowes tend to sell brand name carpets only.

SteamVac Cleaner

If you have children or pets, reading reviews about how specific carpets take on dirt, handle high volume and show dirt will make your search for the right carpet a successful one. The rug the salesperson thinks you should have may not be the one that best meets your needs.

Researching Through a Carpet Review - See What the Experts Have to Say

If you are running a child care facility not only do you want the facts on durability, stain removal and texture, but also on the chemicals that may be used in the manufacturing process which could be harmful to the little ones who will be crawling around on it.

Once you have figured out what color you want and what your needs might be the question of material will come up. Do you want natural fibers such as wool or cotton, or will a synthetic material such as nylon better suit your needs? Once you have selected your material choice, there is usually a price range and specific differences between top of the line and bottom of the line choices. If you need the top priced selection, be sure that the reasons make sense. If you can get away with a cheaper brand, then that should be an option you feel good about.

Finally, do you want a Berber loop or the cut pile of a Saxony carpet? Tufted, sheared or multi length? Carpets are made in a number of different weaves, loops, tufts and braids. Getting feedback from not only the people who make and sell these products, but also from people who have used them and from people who want to give you honest information will insure that you get the carpet you want for your home. Carpet review is the way to go if you want accurate information about your carpets.

Trans AM For Sale

There are four magic works that when worked in combination cast a spell that no car enthusiast can resist: Trans Am for Sale. Place a Trans Am with a glistening red and white For Sale sign in the window on your front lawn, and watch it work its magic like a siren's call. If you sell it, they will come.

Perhaps you're on the other side of this equation. Have you dreamed of owning a Trans Am for as long as you can remember? You're not alone. Count yourself among the many who have been coveting this car since Pontiac released the Trans Am specialty package of their Firebird way back in 1969.

Sale

So, you've thought about it for years, and you've finally decided to go for it, but you might not be prepared for what awaits you. Do you think you're going to buy a fix-it-upper on the cheap? Think again. It's been four decades since the Trans Am's inception, but these vehicles aren't getting any cheaper. If you pay ,000 for one in decent shape, consider yourself fortunate. You might pay that much for one that needs quite a bit of work, and you could pay ,000 or more for a fully renovated Trans Am.

Trans AM For Sale

Are you still interest in a Trans Am for sale? All right then, there are several things you should know about these fabled F-bodies before taking the plunge in order to maximize this investment. Let's focus on the Trans Ams sold between 1971 and 1981 because these are the most popular models with enthusiasts. The key here is to not get overly excited, and buy the first Trans Am you come across. Be patient, and be selective. Consider your mechanical skills, and be willing to pay more in order to limit the big jobs.

Like all older cars, the Firebird is prone to rust, and this should be an area of focus for all potential buyers. The rear frame rails and the rear axle kick-up are particularly fragile. Pay particular attention to the leaf spring connections and the box supports. The trunk floor is also another problem area especially if the car was in a cold or salty climate. It's common to find Firebirds with the trunk completely rotted out. The gas tank, the lower quarter panels, and rear fender splats were also quite prone to holding mud and salt.

Is rust a deal breaker? How much bodywork are you willing to take on? These are important considerations because any Trans Am for sale that doesn't have a five-digit price tag is going to involve some rust, and this type of bodywork is not a simple process, especially for the uninitiated.

Keep in mind that by the time you see rust, the body is in bad shape. Perform a thorough inspection. Don't assume that just because you don't see it, it isn't there. When we find a Trans Am with rust, it's common to see crude repairs performed with Bondo. This is your cue to walk away from the purchase unless you are very skilled with bodywork. This type of prepare may work in one sense, but it makes it dramatically more difficult to get the body up to car show caliber.

As mentioned earlier, the key to this process is patience. With enough of it, you will find that Trans Am for sale in the right condition at the right price. If you're working on a tight budget, then stick to the private sellers where you'll have more room to negotiate. You'll have more options through the auctions and dealers but a lot less flexibility.

The Short Sale Process - Understanding the Short Sale Process

When housing prices in many parts of the country were booming a couple of years ago, there wasn't much national attention given to short sales. But with the current subprime debacle and increasing mortgage delinquencies, many people are wondering if the short sale process is a way to avoid foreclosure.

Basically, the definition of the short sale process is when the lender of a property allows the property to be sold for less than the amount due on the mortgage loan.

Sale

The obvious benefit to the short sale process is that it allows the seller to avoid the credit report damage associated with a foreclosure. A foreclosure can stay on your credit report for up to 10 years and can take an emotional and financial toll on you and your family.

The Short Sale Process - Understanding the Short Sale Process

But the pitfalls of the short sale process should be considered as well. The I.R.S. may consider any debt forgiveness as taxable income, thus resulting in a tax liability. In addition, lenders can often pursue a borrower for the deficiency balance (the difference between the amount owed and the amount paid).

In some cases you may be able to avoid taxation if you can prove you are insolvent. But if insolvency is unsuccessful, and you are faced with a tax liability resulting from the deficiency amount, it may make more financial sense for you to let the lender foreclose.

The Short Sale Process

The short sale process can vary, but it will generally work as follows:

1) The lender is contacted to discuss the possibility of a short sale and to determine the lender's process for completing the sale.

2) The seller issues a letter authorizing the release of personal information about the loan and the property to the buyer or escrow agency.

3) The lender will review a settlement statement, which will indicate the proposed selling price, remaining loan balances and itemize all expenses, including real estate commissions and other fees and expenses associated with the closing.

4) The seller will complete a "hardship letter," which will detail and explain all financial difficulties. Lenders will usually want to validate the seller's financial situation by looking at bank statements, investment accounts, along with examining paystubs and other financial records.

5) The lender will then look to the broker to provide a price opinion by examining the condition of the house and the market value of comparable properties.

6) The lender will then want to scrutinize the purchase agreement to determine if all amounts are reasonable and the real estate commission is acceptable.

Because of the documentation required, the short sale process can be lengthy. But if done correctly, it can work well for all parties involved. The lender avoids the uncertainty of the foreclosure process, the seller avoids a foreclosure on his or her credit report (along with potential bankruptcy), and the buyer hopefully got a good deal on a property.

Considering the complexity of the short sale process, you must be educated. If you are considering a short sale, make sure that you discuss your situation with a competent lawyer and accountant. The more educated you are on the process, the easier the transaction will be, and the better the impression you will make on the lender.

Used Cars For Sale On EBay

There are thousands of used cars for sale on eBay every
single day. In fact, eBay Motors is the most profitable
sales division on eBay and naturally there are many
entrepreneurs who are interested in jumping into this
market. For instance, eBay claims it sells an SUV every nine
seconds and is the biggest online car dealer in America,
exceeding the traditional car companies. In fact, there are
15 million cars sold over the Internet each year - and
growing.

The recent rapid growth of the consignment business model
has made the used car market even more enticing. Many
sellers are able to sell cars they have never even seen and
with no more risk than the cost of the auction listing. Some
negotiators even persuade the car owner to pay for the ad,
thereby risking no more than their time.

Sale

The biggest single issue for this business model is the
trust of prospective buyers. After all, paying thousands or
tens of thousands of dollars for a car sight unseen is an
awesome leap of faith. Even buying for a plane ticket to go
see a car before paying causes buyers to be uncomfortable.

Used Cars For Sale On EBay

The best way sellers can overcome this fear is to use an
escrow service. eBay has a preferred service, and it's
easiest to use that one.

An escrow service acts as a neutral third party. In an
exchange of merchandise, the buyer sends his money to the
escrow service and the seller ships the product to the
buyer. The buyer usually has two days to inspect his
purchase, and if he is happy, he notifies the escrow company
who releases the money to the seller, minus its fee. If the
buyer is dissatisfied, he returns the undamaged merchandise
to the seller, and after the seller receives his merchandise
back (in satisfactory condition), the escrow service returns
the buyer's money. Thus both sides in the transaction are
protected. The buyer almost always pays the fees for this,
although sometimes buyer and seller split the cost.

eBay's offers a "Vehicle Services Division" specifically for
dealing with the used cars, trucks, SUVs and almost anything
else with wheels and a motor. The buyer can request a 160
point inspection performed before agreeing to the purchase.
This is an inexpensive service and certainly will save the
purchaser many headaches.

* The buyer pays a 5 fee that is non-refundable

* The seller is contacted and the inspection is carried outv
* The buyer receives a reportv
* The buyer chooses to go ahead with the purchase - or not

Another choice for the buyer is to deposit his payment with
the escrow service and then take delivery of the vehicle.
The seller ships the car after he knows the money his
secure. The seller must provide tracking information, which
is then verified.

The buyer has between one and 30 days to thoroughly inspect
his new purchase (the period is negotiated between the two
parties ahead of time). If this time expires and the escrow
company has not heard from the buyer, it assumes he is happy
and gives the purchase price to the seller.

The buyer may return his vehicle if he isn't happy and
sometimes buyers and sellers work out partial payment
agreements, the buyer being satisfied with some parts of the
transaction, but not with others. If a dispute arises, it is
settled by the American Arbitration Association.

The fee for this service is:

* - ,500 = value of vehicle: 5

* ,500.01 to ,000: 0

* ,000.01 to ,000: 0

* ,000.01 to ,000: 5

* ,000+ = 6% of the value

Once both parties have agreed, the title transfer process
begins and the escrow service will guarantee this too, for a
fee of . The fee, naturally, doesn't include any transfer
costs - it is only insurance that the title will be
expedited to the satisfaction of both parties.

eBay's escrow service also offers a service that will ship
cars almost anywhere in the world and will gather an auto
history report to inform sellers if their new chariot has
been salvaged or stolen, suffered flood or hail damage, been
in a fire or accident, has had an odometer rollback or has
been used as a police car, a rental or a taxi.

Anyone considering offering used cars for sale on eBay would
be well advised to thoroughly learn the escrow services
available and offer those to prospective buyers. The trust
factor will skyrocket and your chances of completing sales
will dramatically increase.

Accident Damaged Cars For Sale

Accident Damaged Cars are one of the most common type of salvage vehicles available on the open market. These accident damaged cars are usually vehicles that have been taken over by insurance companies for reasons of not having to pay auto body companies from repairing damage that would cost more than the vehicle itself. The insurance companies would rather pay the owner the value of the vehicle that may be considerably less than having the vehicle repaired.

Once the car has been taken by the insurance company it is usually priced out to junk or salvage dealers who tend to either strip the cars and sell the parts or if the car is not damaged to far resale it to the public. Once the accident damaged car for sale is sold it still has a long way to go before it is able to be driven on the open road. When sold these vehicles are deemed un-drivable by motor vehicle associations. The vehicles need to go through the process of being repaired and brought back up to standards that each country deems necessary.

Sale

Now the repairs are done and you feel that the repairs are all that you need. Well, the vehicle is still not ready for the open road. Meaning, you still will not be able to register the vehicle just yet. Now, you need to have the car inspected. You don't want to drive around a car that is unsafe. I know that I would not. The inspection should be done by an authorized inspection station of the state. This inspection station will tell you if the repairs are up to par. If the repairs are not then they will recommend what repairs are still needed and which are not. If no repairs are not needed then they will give you passing paper work that you take with you to a registration station. If their are still problems that have to be taken care of either the inspection station will take care of it or you will need to take it back to the place were you had the initial work done. Once completed go back and have a final inspection done. Now you are ready for registration.

One Way to Dye Your Own Carpets

The tan carpet in #216 was shot.

It was hopeless.

SteamVac Cleaner

A new carpet was needed.

One Way to Dye Your Own Carpets

That meant pulling up the old one, scraping off the pad, and then calling the carpet man and shelling out 00 or more.

It wasn't anyone's fault.

The carpet had served well.

But, upon closer examination, I decided it wasn't really in that bad of shape.

It didn't have frayed edges, or worn down spots, and the nap was still pretty good. It just looked terrible. Bleach spots, stains, dark trails down the hallway and into the living room, and light spots where the sun had hit it on a daily basis through the windows.

No one would rent the apartment with a carpet in that condition.

I steam cleaned it in hopes that it would be miraculously healed.

No such luck.

Then it hit me.

Why not try dyeing the bleached out spots to blend in with the carpet.

I purchased an 8 ounce bottle of RIT tan dye (the kind you use for dyeing clothes) at the drug store for , mixed a little in a spray bottle with steaming hot water, shook it up and sprayed the spots.

They came out a brassy brown, nothing like the color of the existing carpet.

I had the carpet professionally steam cleaned. Surely they could perform a miracle.

Nope.

But I noticed that my dyeing job over the bleached out spots had maintained its original color.

Then it occurred to me, why not try dyeing the entire carpet to match the spots I had sprayed?

Two pictures came to mind on how I might do this.

I could mix the dye with hot water in my little steam cleaner (one like you would rent at the market) or I could use a pump up garden sprayer. I decided on the sprayer because the tenant below had suffered through enough steam cleaning noise.

I purchased an ACE Sprayer for .

I mixed 8 tablespoons of dye into the 2 quarts of steaming hot water in the sprayer, screwed in the pump, shook up the contents and pumped it up.

I placed four 1"x 6" x 3' pieces of wood along the edges of the walls so as not to get dye on the white paint. I adjusted the nozzle on the sprayer to a fine spray and began.

I moved the boards as I dyed, but after a while as I became familiar with the sprayer, I didn't really need them.

Also, after dyeing a section, and before reloading the sprayer, I used my little Bissell carpet sweeper to even out the areas I had sprayed and work the dye into the carpet.

But still, the bleached out spots didn't match the overall carpet color after I finished dyeing.

So the next day I applied another coat.

Better, but still not good enough.

Then I went back to the store for more dye, but they didn't have anymore tan. I went to three other stores, but no tan.

So, I bought RIT's dark brown dye.

This turned out to be a blessing in disguise.

I put 4 tablespoons of this darker dye into my 2 quarts of steaming hot water, pumped up the sprayer and applied another coat.

That's when the magic began to happen.

The darker brown really kicked in.

The trails down the hallway disappeared, as did the light spots under the windows.

The carpet started to look like a real carpet again, but the bleached out spots still dyed a slightly darker shade than the rest of the carpet.

To compensate for this I dyed other parts of the carpet darker by spraying more dye on them, and continued using my carpet sweeper to even out the dye and work it into the nap. My goal was to blend everything together.

It worked... somewhat.

I applied two coats of the dark brown dye, about worth of dye, over a 700 square foot area.

It was easy, and fun to do.

By the time I applied the second coat the carpet looked almost new.

Because I've obsessed over the bleached out stains in the carpet I can still find some of them, but not all. There is a slight darkening in the carpet where they once existed, but when a potential tenant came through to rent the apartment, and I explained to her what I had done, she glanced at it, said it looked fine, and went to look at the kitchen.

My daughter and my neighbor also viewed the carpet and both stated it looked great, better than their own carpets.

But I know it's not perfect. It went from a D- or F to a C+/ B- or maybe even a B, and those grades really depend on what angle you look at the carpet from.

My father mentioned that the dye might be toxic.

I hadn't thought of that. I figured if you could dye your clothes with it you could certainly do a carpet.

But to be safe I called RIT, the makers of the dye, and their representative assured me that all their dyes are non-toxic, but that they don't recommend using them on carpets because some of their customers have called and said the dye rubs off over time.

I went back up to #216, soaked a rag with steaming hot water, and tried to rub off the dye in several spots.

Nothing happened.

Maybe in time the dye will wear off in well traveled areas.

I'm not sure.

Time will tell.

But if it does wear off, and the carpet is still usable, why not dye those areas again, like repainting walls, or staining wood doors and trim that experience wear and tear?

P.S. My daughter suggested that I include this following idea: Why not cut out a stencil of your favorite design, say a star or elephant, place it over the stain or bleached out spot, and then spray the dye into the stencil. A lot easier than dyeing the entire carpet!

Just a thought.

Real Estate Notes For Sale

Over the past few years, more and more people in the United States have been offering real estate notes for sale. Selling real estate is an easy way to turn one's monthly receivable payment into an immediate and large sum of cash. A real estate note for sale can be a mortgage note, a contract for sale or a land contract.

The best way to find real estate notes for sale is to look for real estate note listings. Several websites provide information on real estate notes for sale. They usually list real estate notes from different states. These websites also provide information on various categories of real estate notes. You can approach real estate note brokers who generally have up-to-date information on the real estate note market. They can also simplify the process of transaction. Local newspapers and magazines are other places to look for real estate notes for sale. Real estate investment clubs are a good forum to discuss matters related to real estate notes.

Sale

Competition in this field is very high. Earlier, it was easy to buy real estate notes for huge margins of profit. With several financial institutions and companies hunting for real estate notes, individual buyers often find it hard to buy and sell real estate notes. Most real estate note sellers do not sell their entire lot of real estate notes at once. This can place individual buyers in certain tricky situations. Generally, real estate notes sold partially would not generate immediate income. It is better you go for professional help, as the transaction can sometimes be confusing.

Where to Find Mannequins for Sale

Any time a clothing store opens or expands, they must buy mannequins. There are many different places to find a mannequin for sale, including the Internet, companies that mass produce mannequins, and businesses that make unique mannequins one at a time. Other mannequin sellers offer used mannequins at a discount.

There are numerous websites that sell mannequins. Some of them manufacture their own mannequins while others offer mannequins from well-known mannequin makers around the world. Other websites sell used and refurbished mannequins at low prices. Most Internet mannequin dealers have pictures and description of the mannequins they have in stock so that buyers know exactly what they are getting. Websites that sell used or unique mannequins have different inventories daily and do not always have the same models, so it is a good idea for consumers to act quickly when they see a mannequin they like on one of these websites. Some websites offer free shipping on large orders.

Sale

Some mannequin manufacturers mass-produce their products, creating hundreds or thousands of identical mannequins. They often have a mannequin designer that comes up with specific body shapes and facial features that are then made into molds in order to be produced on a large scale. These mannequins are often less expensive than one-of-a-kind mannequins. Mannequins produced in the same factory are usually of comparable quality, providing buyers with a consistent level of quality.

Where to Find Mannequins for Sale

Other mannequin dealers specialize in making unique mannequins. These are often more expensive, but they are high-quality, one-of-a-kind mannequins unlike any others in the world. Some of these manufacturers design and make their mannequins one at a time in order to insure that they are of the highest quality possible.

There are many places to find mannequins for sale. People can buy them off the Internet or from mannequin stores that specialize in creating unique mannequins.

The Difference Between Steam Carpet Cleaners and Rug Shampooers

What's the difference in these appliances? Carpet cleaner. Rug shampooer. Carpet extractor. Carpet steamer. Carpet steam cleaner. And Steam carpet cleaner. Say to yourself...there is no difference. There is no difference. All these names refer to the same appliance. An appliance that cleans your carpet in pretty much the same fashion as other appliances with the similar name. Don't be confused by this piece of information.

Although you may see the name "steam" in the description, all these carpet cleaning appliance do NOT use steam for cleaning. They use uses hot water and occasionally chemical solutions pushed into your carpet, then extracted with a powerful vacuum. You can find a piece of equipment known as a steam cleaner, but its normally not the piece of equipment you use at home or on your carpet. Steam cleaners are used on engines, and occasionally on carpet spots where the carpet can handle the intense heat. Carpets that can handle the heat are usually commercial type installations.

SteamVac Cleaner

There is a difference between a vacuum cleaners and a steam carpet cleaner. Vacuums use an air pump to suck dirt and dust from carpets. Carpet cleaners do more. After injecting inject a cleaning solution into your rug, they stir it up trying to loosen all the dirt, then extract the fluid and the dirt. When you are planning to clean your carpet, its a good idea to use "green" chemicals in your cleaning. No matter how good the cleaner is, some residue can get left behind. If you have young children or pets, green is good.

The Difference Between Steam Carpet Cleaners and Rug Shampooers

Here are key features of the so called steam carpet cleaners.

Water temperature. Some units have heating elements, or you bring the hot water yourself by pouring it into the machine. All home carpet cleaners clean the same basic way. Hot water, injected into the carpet, then pulled back out to leave the surface, and slightly below the surface cleaner. The heat of the water is one of the most critical features in getting your carpets clean. One difference in these machines, smaller units with only one element don't get as hot or as quickly as the larger units.

You'll want separate solution and recovery tanks. The bigger these tanks are, the stopping and starting you'll do as you work on your rug. The recovery tank contains the dirt pulled from your carpet.

The less water on your carpet the better. Water is pretty much an enemy of carpet. You'll want a cleaner that uses low flow technology. You'll get less water in your carpet and be able to put the room back to use in the shortest time. Another advantage of less water in your carpet is less chance for mold or mildew and less damage to your carpet.

Certain steam carpet cleaners have a feature called temperature control. As we learned earlier, the higher temps mean better cleaning. However, there are delicate carpets that cannot handle heat or high temperatures. If you have a machine with the ability of your machine to control the water temperature helps you be more flexible.

Rigorous vacuuming alone won't keep your carpets clean, but it is a good start. Regular vacuuming is effective to eliminate surface and dust particles. However, vacuuming won't eliminate stubborn stains, dirt, and grime on the carpet surface, fibers, or base. Carpet manufacturers recommended cleaning your carpet every 12 to 18 months. No matter how you describe what you are doing to your carpet, you're using the same product. Steam carpet cleaners, carpet steam cleaners, rug shampooers, carpet cleaners, carpet steamers, or carpet extractors. Your home will be healthier and cleaner, and you'll know exactly the appliance you need to get the job done.

Steam Cleaners on Late Night Infomercials

I never new what a steam cleaner was until I saw one on an infomercial one night. Those infomercials are so well made and persuasive that despite my better judgement, I found myself ordering one of their units and eagerly awaiting it's arrival.

This type of a cleaner is sort of like a new toy for a big kid because now I was going to be able to clean with steam. What a cool concept and one that the infomercial made very appealing. I mean, I always cleaned my sink and toilets and other things but I never got them "steam" cleaned. Being able to clean them so that they were sanitary enough to eat off of was something that sounded very exciting.

SteamVac Cleaner

Of course what came in the mail worked nowhere like what was advertised on television. In fact, playing with the steam aspect of the cleaner wasn't really fun at all after I realized that it wasn't cleaning like I saw on TV. On the TV spot they showed the steam coming out of the nozzle and decimating the dirt, just ripping it off the counters and sinks. It was truly spectacular how easy and fun it looked.

Steam Cleaners on Late Night Infomercials

In reality though, the steam was just a little trickle that did very little to do away with the dirt. Even after setting it to the highest setting, it did very little to clean my sink's surface. I assumed I was doing something wrong but no matter what I did, the cleaner failed to clean.

Steam can actually help clean things if it is harnessed correctly. It is common in carpet cleaning machines and can be used effectively to sanitize your carpets. But the handheld steam cleaner I got in the mail certainly wasn't a machine that could clean anything. It serves me right for my weak late night moment of watching infomercials.

Small Bulldozers For Sale

Sometimes, a little bit of muscle is all you need. If that's the case, then perhaps a small bulldozer is all you really need. Now, when you say small bulldozer, I'm assuming your not actually looking for a skid steer or a bobcat. Since those are really different machines. Mind you, they can do some of the same stuff, just not on the same scale as a real bulldozer, even if it is a small one. When I say small, I'm thinking of a d2, d3, or d4 Caterpillar sized bulldozer. That's still a pretty good sized machine, great for clearing trees or piles of dirt and wood from the farm.

You'd be surprised at some of the great prices you can get these for during the tough economic times, if you look around a bit. As long as the dozer has been maintained well, you should get quite a few good years out of even a used machine. That said, you may want to hedge your bet by sticking with the more reliable brand names when you buy. Caterpillar is likely the best know, and uses the same technology for it's big industrial strength dozers, as it does for it's smaller ones, so you should be safe with them.

Sale

Other good manufacturers to consider, are Case, New Holland, Komatsu, John Deere, and Liebherr. They all produce good dozers. If you can, ask for a maintenance log, used by the previous owner of the machine. First of all, if they have a maintenance log, that's a very good sign. It suggests that they were doing at least minimum upkeep on their dozer. Secondly, it should give you a pretty good idea of what you'll need to do to keep your little dozer running.

Velvet Acid Christ - The Dead (Deathwish Mix)/Lyrics

Calling Ov The Dead is track after killer track of addicting music. Here's track 5 for your aural pleasure. The video in the background is of the game Beat Hazard, another music-oriented experience. Load up the song, the enemies and difficulties follow the intensity of the music. It's not as satisfying as Audiosurf, but it's still pretty fun, and you know when you start to get a migraine from all the flashing lights that you're really enjoying yourself too much. I got my version thru the Steam network, or you can visit www.coldbeamgames.com to download the demo. One of the neatest parts of Beat Hazard is the Volume powerup that you can collect, increasing the volume of the playback - die and the volume goes back to it's normal level

White Coating on Tongue and Bad Breath (Halitosis)

Stare at yourself in the mirror and bring your tongue out - do you have a white coating on your tongue and bad breath? A lot of people who experience bad breath (halitosis) have a noticeable white coating at the end of the tongue. Even if you don't notice anything, you might have a coating, at times referred to as a biofilm, on your tongue formed by countless unusual microbes, the leftovers of food and body cells, and a non-cellular medium that holds it in unison.

A number of microbes living on your tongue are most probably pathogens - organisms that can cause infectivity and bad breath, actually, the tongue is the habitat of the maximum number of microbes living in the mouth. This is why it is so advantageous to employ a tongue cleaner to eliminate the biofilm, mainly if you have a noticeably coated tongue and bad breath. Studies have revealed that habitual physical elimination of the coating brings about a noteworthy decrease in numbers of pathogenic bacteria in the mouth, and in the amount of halitosis.

Physical tongue cleaning will be more successful against your bad breath, coated tongue and oral microbes as the noncellular medium of the biofilm in fact shields the organisms in it from mouthwashes, normal immune cells and the cleaning act of saliva - imagine of a rigid jelly-like material putting everything in a thin water-resistant layer. An excellent tongue cleaner or tongue scraper gets past the barrier of the medium by simply scraping it all away and lessening the coated tongue and bad breath. In the meantime, lower layers that turn out to be uncovered will be susceptible to antibacterial substances in the mouth like saliva or mouthwash at the same time as the biofilm is reestablishing itself.

And it will restore itself - no tongue cleaner or antibacterial product will ever totally eliminate the unwelcome organisms in your mouth that are producing bad breath coated tongue and even gum disease. It is achievable, though to maintain the numbers of these organisms down with a usual program of superior oral cleanliness together with tongue scraping and the application of a mouthwash that aims to remove the bacteria that forms heavily coated tongue and bad breath.

There are quite a lot of potentials for what causes a white coating on the tongue. The most well known reason of a white coating is a candidal infection, which is caused by fungus. Moreover, thrush can be formed by antibiotics or steroids that were breathed in for sinus or asthma problems. In addition, a white coating can just be the increase of dead cells on the tongue.

o A white coating on the tongue may be formed due to dehydration! If you aren't drinking a sufficient amount of water, it is quite probable that tiny pieces of food are sticking with your tongue! Just drinking more and more water will cure this situation. Therefore, drinking large amount of water assists you very much when it comes to a white coating of the tongue.

o To prevent white coating of your tongue you should avoid soy milk which is definitely one of its root causes.

o Clean your tongue with a tongue scraper. Be certain that you have cleaned the end position of your tongue where in most of the cases microbes survive. Be cautious and don't rub too hard the initial time.

o Make an effort to brush your tongue with a combination of baking soda, 3% hydrogen peroxide and water. Don't try it for a long time; otherwise your tongue might get raw.

o Add 1/8 teaspoon of cayenne pepper to lukewarm water and allow the combination to sit in your mouth for as much time as you can control. The cayenne pepper appears to draw mucous up and out. It's an excellent treatment for sore throats also.

o Initially, place 1 spoon of salt in a cup after that add water, then immerse your tooth brush into it and brush your tongue, it might hurt although then the pain and white coating will disappear. Or hold the salty water for approximately half a minute on your tongue and then gargle for another half minute then spit out.
